Blown in Fiberglass Insulation

Blown in fiberglass insulation is our preferred material and method for insulating attics and walls. Blown in fiberglass is cleaner than cellulose and does not lose its r-value over time since it does not settle.

In the 1970s and early ’80s we installed blown in cellulose. Now, blown in fiberglass achieves the same R-values as cellulose and provides a better insulating value for your home.

The process of installing blown in fiberglass is the same as cellulose. Because of the loose fill properties of blown in fiberglass, it is easier to achieve a uniform appearance and coverage in your attic.

As an existing wall method, blown in fiberglass is cleaner than cellulose and will not settle in the wall cavity.

If you are deciding between cellulose or fiberglass, there is no financial difference, so why not choose blown in fiberglass insulation?
